Games of chance aren't listed among my close friends usually. They're the kind of experiences that don't send me friend requests, they just kinda send me memes from two years ago with a "LOL" message attached.

But, I decided to give Tay Topo a chance because the pixelated horror aesthetic really drew me in and curiosity has always been one of my biggest enemies!

Have to say, I love the idea. The multitude of different death screens meant that whenever I chose wrongly (which happened often) I was inclined to try again to either see if I could get further or die in a different way!

It did grow a bit tiresome though, and even though it would defeat the object of a random chance game the option to continue on from a certain point might nudge people to keep on going (I did notice that there seemed to be "sections" in the game). My main issue is that since I'm a leftie and "left is my favourite direction" (actual words I have said with my actual mouth) I find it hard to break away from that mentality!

Anywho, I thought this was a great way to pass a bit of time. That one good run I had was what really kept me believing! For a little while anyway. I think it's an idea worth looking at again for sure, and if anything more ever comes of this I'll be right on back trying to not die! Keep up the great work =)

Watching that neat playthrough of yours and reading this review aswell gave me a few ideas I could put on my "to add" list, if I were to go back into this game's development, starting over from scratch.

I wish I could say more than that, but congrats for making it that far! And thanks a lot for checking out the prototype, giving me some feedback I can possibly put to use (hopefully) sometime soon! :D
